Article Withdrawal Policy
Tourist Destination (TD) values efficiency and scientific integrity during the review workflow. The rules regarding manuscript withdrawal are as follows:
1. WITHDRAWAL BEFORE PUBLICATION
- Authors may request the withdrawal of their submitted manuscript before it is officially published, provided they submit valid academic reasons.
- A formal withdrawal request signed by all co-authors must be scanned and sent to the editorial office via email.
- The submission remains active in our system until the editorial board formally grants withdrawal approval. Authors must not submit the manuscript to another journal before receiving this approval.
2. RETRACTION OF PUBLISHED ARTICLES
Published articles will only be retracted if they contain severe ethical breaches (plagiarism, data fabrication, duplicate publication) or major scientific errors that render the findings unreliable. This is processed under the Retractions Policy.
