Author Guidelines

To maintain the quality and standards of our journal, we kindly request that you review these guidelines carefully before submission. Manuscripts that do not adhere to the specified rules may be returned to the author without entering the review process.
- Publication Policy & Ethics
All manuscripts submitted to our journal must comply with the following ethical principles and publication policies.
- Originality: Submitted manuscripts must be original, not have been previously published in any other peer-reviewed journal, and not be under consideration by any other journal simultaneously. An abbreviated version of the content presented at a meeting is not considered a prior publication.
- Authorship and Responsibility: All authors must certify that they have made a substantial scientific contribution to the paper and that they approve of its final form. The authors are responsible for all content within the manuscript, including opinions, results, and formulas.
- Author Limits & Frequency:
- It is recommended that a manuscript has a maximum of 7 authors.
- A researcher can only be an author on one article in the journal within the same year.
- Copyright and Licensing:
- Authors warrant that they hold the copyright to their manuscript and all materials within it (text, illustrations, etc.) or have obtained the necessary permissions. For materials such as tables or figures from other sources, a written statement from the copyright holder(s) granting permission for publication must be submitted.
- Published articles are licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 (CC-BY) license.
- Authors grant Tourist Destination the right to store their articles in its databases for an unlimited period and to distribute and reproduce the articles electronically. Authors retain all other exploitation rights, provided that any further use of the article includes a reference to its original publication ("originally published in Tourist Destination").
- Conflict of Interest: Authors must declare in their cover letter or on the title page whether the research reported was the result of a for-pay consulting relationship or if they or their employer have a financial interest in the topic of the paper that might constitute a conflict of interest.
- Publication Fees: There are no submission fees, processing fees, or page charges for this journal.
- Manuscript Submission Process
- Submission System: Manuscripts must be submitted electronically only via the Tourist Destination submission system.
- File Format: Authors are expected to submit their manuscript as a Microsoft Word (.docx) or PDF (.pdf) file.
- Preparation for Blind Peer Review: Our journal uses a double-blind peer review process. Therefore, the main manuscript file submitted to the system must not contain any author-identifying information (such as names, affiliations, email addresses, or acknowledgements).
